Just a quick post to thank all the Prep H parents for the wonderful surprise I got this morning.  Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and gift card (I can't wait to spend it on some things for our new house!) and the lovely cake and honey joys (I know the children certainly enjoyed them).  I really appreciate it all.

Welcome Back to Term 4

Wow!!! I can't believe it is Term 4 already.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready for the busy term ahead.  We have so many exciting things happening this term so check back here and hopefully we will have time to post about everything.

Popplet App

We made mind maps using the app Popplet.  We took a photo of the book we read called The Little Yellow Chicken and wrote words to describe the chicken.

 



 

 

Explain Everything

We have been using a new app called Explain Everything.  We are using it for lots of different things.  At the moment we are doing a toy project.  We can't wait to post our videos on our blog.  Here are some things we have been doing.

Book and Science Week

We had such a great day on Monday for Book and Science Week. We all got to dress up as our favourite book characters.  Miss Hull said we looked great.  We had a fun parade with the whole school and we performed a song with the other preps.  We then went to lots of different classrooms to do different activities.

Lego Excursion

Our Lego excursion was amazing! We went on a bus and it took a long time.  We got to build lots of things with lego.  We built a brick house for one of the three little pigs and the wolf couldn't get in.  We had snack and lunch and it was very windy.  We run around in the wind. 

 

Finding Cyberspace- Our Storyboard

Prep H made a movie about finding cyberspace.  We made a storyboard to show the different parts of the movie and what we would say in the movie.  Mrs Dann and Mrs Roworth helped too.  We got to go outside to film some parts of the movie.  It was lots of fun.  We found cyberspace when we went on the computer.  We are learning about how to be safe online.
